Tetrahydrocannabinol, abbreviated as THC is a drug that is used for many purposes. It is one of the very latest classes of drugs called as the cannabinoids in which the principal and major active content is the cannabis. THC is used is various forms, it has a synthetic form which is used for the treatment of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome, AIDS, and is also used to induce antiemetic effect caused in people who are receiving chemotherapy for the treatment of their cancer. Not only this, THC is used for many recreational purposes as well because it has a euphoric effect on the human brain and causes euphoria in the person who takes it in large quantities.

Cannabidiol, abbreviated as CBD, also called as CBD oil is another drug that comes in the latest class of drugs called the cannabinoids in which cannabis the principal active ingredient. It is said that this drug is a CNS stimulant; meaning that it has a stimulating effect on the human brain. The effects of CBD oil drug are great in number yet to mention few, this drug down regulates anxiety and overthinking among many people, according to a recent research.

THC vs. CBD:

There are a number of point that reflect which is better when it comes to THC vs. CBD. The major differentiating factor among the two is the psych effect that each produces; whether or not they produce euphoria? Euphoria; in the urban term is defined as the excited state or the state of being high. So what science tells is that THC binds to the CB1 receptors that are found on the brain cells. Which means that they have the same chemical formula that is C21H30O2, and they have the same molecular formula, but they have a different arrangement of atoms in their stricture, although he number and type of atoms are the same. Hence they interact differently with different cells of the body.

Another major contrasting effect of THC vs. CBD is that THC interacts with the cannabinoid receptors, the CB1 and CB2 receptor, hence imparts its euphoric effects. Whereas in a very contrasting and distinct manner, CBD does not interact with CB receptors, and acts as a direct or indirect agonist on the human body.
